Peaches

I had some very ripe beaches, so I decided to make a Peach Buckle, an Everyday Food recipe, posted on the Martha Stewart Web site. Usually I make peach cobbler, but today I decided to try something a little different, and since I love the blueberry buckle recipe of theirs as well, and have also made a raspberry buckle I thought it would have to be good, right? I used my great-grandmother's cast iron skillet and of course, everything tastes good in it. The idea of using something that has been in your family for several generations is very comforting and feels very - solid. The cinnamon smell wafting through the house as it was baking was a very good thing!


Even the little fish seemed to like it!
