When I went to Michael's on Saturday I was so happy to see these Treasures by Shabby Chic in the dollar bins. The note cards, gift tags, painted clothespins, and vinyl shelf paper are all in Rachel Ashwell's Shabby Chic design. I chose a few items, but I think I am going to go back and get some more. I really like the vinyl shelf paper and have a few projects in mind to use it with. They ranged in price from $1.00 - $3.00. So affordable to add a little shabby chic to your gifts and projects.
I didn't realize Michaels carried a Shabby Chic line.. What do you plan to do with the shelf paper?? I need to start a craft project of some sort.. a nice distraction from daily life!

ReplyDelete@Kenn I have a bookcase in my craft/project room that is white and I would like to try covering a board cut to size for the back of the shelves to give it a 'pop' of color and pattern. This way you can remove the covered board when you what to change the pattern. Kevin Sharkey demoed this on Martha last year. I thought it a great decorating tip. Not sure have the vinyl covering will look, but I loved the patterns that were available.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE the dollar bins at Michaels! Esp. with the 40% off coupons they give you! I think I may have an addiction. The shappy chic line is too cute!! I guess I need to make a trip soon! :)
