I'm Late! I'm Late!

Last week, Lizzy, from That skinny chick can bake!!! invited me to play an Easter tag game. Rules of the game require you to put together a menu of 5-10 dishes that you have previously posted on your blog. It was so close to Easter that I didn't want to put any extra pressure on those I tagged to come up with a last minute post, so my apologies to Lizzy, but I thought I would wait...and, so I AM LATE! And not only that, I am taking a little liberty and changing up the rules and instead of posting about Easter, I thought I would put together a menu for our next celebration.

We usually have Mexican food at our house so celebrating Cinco de Mayo is a given for our family. Here is what I selected for my menu from previous posts:

Killer Beef Daube Tacos
Nopales Salad 
Agua Fresca

Meyer Lemon Coffee Cake


Magic in the Middles

Each blogger tagged is invited to post 5-10 Easter, Cinco de Mayo, Mother's Day, or any other upcoming celebratory menu suggestions from previous blog posts with photos and links back to the recipes. Include appetizers, entrees, desserts - whatever you'd like. Then invite 10 more bloggers to do the same - sharing links to their blogs.

    Haha! I'm not IT - but thank you very much for thinking of me for this post. I do love your Mexican twist on Easter. I'm tempted to do something like that for Mother's Day. I volunteered to cook for all 11 of us and a Franco-Mexican taco bar sounds wonderful and not overly daunting.

    Hi Elaine. Holiday food tag! What fun! I'll pull something together in the next week for a Mother's Day menu. We always celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a Mexican fiesta dinner. I'll check out your recipes for some new ideas for our menu. Yum! Happy Monday.
