Winter Beauties

Usually I post photos of camellias on Camellia Day in late February, but when I was out for a walk at work today I couldn't help but notice these lovely blooms. I really have not seen them bloom this early before. On a cold, blustery day like today they were a sight to behold. 

To my friends who are experiencing particularly harsh winter conditions right now, I hope these photos give you a lift, and hope - for spring is just around the corner.

These azalea blooms were bobbing their lovely heads so furiously with the wind that I had to hold them with my fingers so I could take their photo.
