I haven't posted about anything other than food in a long time, so I thought I would share some photos I have taken of the flowers in my garden recently.
So pretty! I did not know that meyer lemons were that pretty until I saw that picture. All I have growing is herbs at the moment. The neighbors have tulips and other early spring flowers though. Oh...I do have a few lilacs, but they are not happy lilacs. The weather has been really odd here.
I agree! I didn't know lemons blossomed! :) How wonderful - I secretly hate you, as I have maybe one tree that is in blossom now - otherwise nothing. :) How neat that you have such a long growing season! Everything looks beautiful!
These are so beautiful, Elaine! Are those blue roses with the hens and chickens, or those the hens? or the chickens? I don't know my flowers all that well...but I love looking at yours.
Thank you, Audrey. I guess they do look like blue roses, don't they? :) No, those are the hens and chicks. It is their first blooms. I am waiting patiently for them to open and hope that I can capture them with my camera when they do.
What gorgeous flowers! I take photos of the flowers at my mother's place and in the street - maybe I should publish some of those pics sometime, as they are truly beautiful flowers.
What gorgeous flowers! You have a beautiful garden.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, Elaine!! I have a black thumb..but you have a real talent...all spectacular :)

ReplyDeleteYes, the meyer lemon blossoms are so fragrant! My little tree is loaded with buds, so I am hoping that I get more lemons this year.

ReplyDeleteI love the Gingersnap Rose. And, always Hens & Chickens. Thanks for sharing these photos. Beautiful.
