As much as I love my digital camera and my SLR cameras, I really love my Polaroid camera and was really upset when Polaroid announced that they were no longer making film for the instant cameras a few years ago. I bought up every film pack I could find before stores stopped selling them and still have a few stashed away.
There are just some special occasions, such as graduation parties, showers, wedding receptions, and birthdays where you really want to not only capture the moments, but also have an actual photo right then and there. With instant cameras you can get that. Besides, there is something so fun about watching the photo develop right before your eyes.
So imagine my joy when I read that Polaroid is bringing the Instant Camera back with the Polaroid 300 due to come out sometime this summer. You can pre-order on their site at www.polaroid.com. I am SO getting one of these.
It is great to hear that they are bringing the camera back! They look like a far cry from the cameras back in the 60s.. remember how huge they were?!
