I know that the calendar says that we are well into Fall now, but we have had fairly warm temperatures until this past weekend. The little bit of rain that we got and the cool breezes, made me feel like it was finally time to start getting the autumn decorations out. I thought about working on a few Halloween projects as well, but didn't get any of those projects done over the weekend. So I decided today to stop procrastinating and get at least one of them out of the way this afternoon even though mother nature has done it again and we are back in the low 80s. Sigh. It is just so difficult to get in the mood for pumpkins when I am craving an ice cream cone.
I bought this skull at Walmart over a month ago and he has been waiting patiently to be glittered. I have to tell you - it was so much fun! The house is sprinkled with glitter...I am sprinkled with glitter (thankfully, none in my eyeballs - yet!)...but most of it ended up on my skull guy. I used Martha's smoky glitter and honestly I think he looks quite elegant. Now...what to glitter next?!
He looks great! Best part, no one was injured while glittering this skull! Great job, Elaine!
ReplyDeleteI think you missed a spot, just under the left eyeball. Did you have something in your eye when you did this? :)
ReplyDeleteElaine - he's (or she) is wonderful! Is that the Create line of "smokey" color?
He is so very pretty.... you will never look at things the same again. I look at everything and wonder if I can cover it in glitter :)
