CHROMA

This past Saturday night we had the pleasure of attending an artist's reception at a local art gallery. 



The artist is one of my husband's friends, Bill Van Pelt, who is an expressionist artist. His work is being shown at the Artisan Gallery. 


It was exciting for me to see Bill's work in an actual gallery. The lighting, the groupings, the seating and the ambience all work together to enhance the viewing pleasure. 


Six paintings were already sold!


While I have been to art shows in the past, this was the first time I actually knew the artist. Knowing how excited he was and also how nervous he was made me happy that we were able to share in his special evening.

    I thought they were Van Gogh! How wonderful - I love his style and use of color! It's very impressionistic. I'm glad he's already sold some paintings from the 2nd Saturday - what a joy for him!
