Fleuri is a small store, but it is so beautifully, and elegantly decorated. It is owned and operated by two sisters. It is the best store locally to get vintage fabric, ribbons, and fabric flowers. The store owner didn't want me to take photos inside the store (Sorry, Claudine), but trust me, it is the kind of store that you would love to spend a lot of time in. Now that I know Claudine, I always think of her when I go there because there are so many French products and glittered French signs throughout the store. You would absolutely love it, Claudine! I have gone there for over 5 years and even though it is a little pricey everything is of great quality. It is the kind of store that I would love to have someday. I get so inspired every time I walk inside!
I just love the black Eiffel Tower that proudly stands outside!

The flea market was a lot of fun and I saw some vendors from local antique stores. There were wonderful crafts there as well - vintage embroidered towels made into aprons, silverplated teapots made into lamps, silverware made into bud vases and toothpick holders, and silver forks made into photo holders...I got so many great ideas.
My find of the day was a companion piece to the jadeite mug that my friend, Kenn, sent me. It is a beautiful salad/dessert plate and the mug and plate look perfect together. I am on my way to a jadeite collection!
Yeah!!! It only takes one piece to get you started! Jadeite is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteooh la la! How I wish I could shop there. I would get into some big trouble since I would want everything. I will make a shopping list and send it down to you :)
