I think these letterpress recipe cards are just beautiful. They are available at moontreepress on Etsy. You can even get them with my favorite Martha Stewart recipe box. The label on the box is replaced with a beautiful letterpress label.

While I have many cookbooks, and most often print out a recipe found online, I think there is something so wonderful and precious about reading recipes on recipe cards. I have some in my mother's handwriting and in my husband's grandmother's handwriting that mean the world to me.
Do you write down your favorite recipes on recipe cards? Or do you just use cookbooks or print out the recipe on the computer?
Yes, yes, and yes. :-)
ReplyDeleteI write them down on cards (not as often as I should), use my cookbooks, and I use various cooking sites and print recipes. I love the look of the cards!
This is lovely idea I would have never thought out doing something like this…the tin & cards are beautifully presented.
ReplyDeleteI am afraid I have a mixture of cookbooks with post it notes, recipe articles stuck inside them! I have been meaning to organise them in ring binder of some kind so this is genius! Thanks for sharing!
Oh how wonderful! Is that a MSE card holder??? Why didn't I get one??? :) Are they at Macys?
ReplyDeleteThose cards are SO wonderful.... I need to look at ETSY more! They are perfect with the holder!
Yes, I use all three, plus a binder chocked full of plastic sleeves that I insert xeroxed or paper from the Internet recipes into. It's completely disorganized but I love searching for something, because I inevitably find somethine ELSE I want to make. LOVE that card holder Elaine!!!
